Meet our creative team!

http://createmess.com/blog/

Hey! I’m Carlie, and I live in Australia. I'm a Scrapbooker, writer, artist and teacher. I have always been interested in both craft and memory keeping, so it was only natural that I would become a scrapbooker. When I'm not crafting I'm usually being a huge nerd, or hanging with my hubby and our two kitties, Nala & Batman.

Hi there!  My name is Catherine Martin and I am a graphic designer and illustrator by trade, though I am currently a floral designer. I live in Prince Edward Island, Canada, the tiniest province. I am 31 years old and have two children, a super active hilarious little boy and a spirited sweet little girl.  I have been scrapping since 2009 when my son was born.  I not only use scrapbooking as a way to record family memories but as a creative outlet and a chance to use my skills as a designer.  I love all things crafty and am constantly putting new projects on my to-do list!  I am very excited for this opportunity and look forward to sharing projects, learning new tricks, and getting to know others in the scrap community.

Hi! I'm Deedee Horton. I live in North Texas and am a 3rd grade teacher. In addition to crafting, I love reading, music, and all things vintage. I've also declared myself a giant Disney nerd, because of my obsession with Walt Disney World and Mickey Mouse! I've been very fortunate to have done a lot of traveling in my life, though there are many more places I would love to see.  I'm very close to my awesome parents, younger sister, and my sweet 3 year old niece and I have a crazy yellow lab mix pup named Bailey. I've been scrapping since 1998 and my style evolved over the years. Currently, I'm very into creations that have lots of layering and a mixed media sort of feel. I consider myself first and foremost a scrapbooker, though I try my hand at cards now and then, but can never seem to get a grasp on them quite like I would like to.

Hi, I'm June from Ohio...Retired...2 married daughters along with 2 great son n laws...The rest of my family consists of my 91 year old dad and sister...I was widowed in 1994 but have been very fortunate to find love again...7 grandchildren - 6 beautiful girls and 1 handsome guy...
I am a jack of all trades and a master of none...I've dabbled in all sorts of things other than scrapbooking and making cards such as counted cross stitch, crocheting, quilting and all other sorts of things...
Scrapbooking and making cards has been part of my life for about 10 years now...Going to weekend  in real life crops is one of my favorite things to do...I also enjoy camping...Since my grandchildren are all involved in activities, I find my time is filled with attending their events along with taking as many photos as I can...
For the most part, I have difficulty creating on my own...I'm definitely what you would call a clean and simple scrapper and card maker...I have all the bells and whistles to create out of my comfort zone, but I have only done that on a few occasions...
Now a days, everyone has such a busy schedule...I scrapbook so that my grand children's  memories are documented...I want them to know how much they were loved in all aspects of their lives...I try to take what I call fly by the seat of my pants photos...unstaged and natural...but that doesn't always work...Once I started scrapping I couldn't take enough photos...Now it's like have camera will travel...As they say, “if It’s not in the scrapbook it didn’t happen...”
I definitely look forward to being part of this team...

I have been scrapbooking and playing with paper for about 10 years.  I have been scrapping a lot more since I had my first baby 3 years ago and I love the feeling of sliding a completed page into an album and knowing that a memory has been documented and is now readily available for my family to look at.  I love all different styles and techniques, but more linear designs are my favorites.  I love to include sketches, die cuts and stamping on pages, and try to include as many photos as I can.  I am a believer in doing what you like, not what is the current trend - whether it's a dated technique, lifting a page that I love from another scrapbooker, or using old products from my stash.  I am so excited to join this team and share with other scrapbookers that it is okay to go your own creative way!

Hi, I’m Sandi and I live in Minnesota with my husband. I have been retired for two years now. I absolutely love it and the freedom it allows me to do my crafting. I have two grown children ~ a daughter and a son. I always say I got my crafting gene from my dad. I believe my daughter has inherited that same gene. Over the years, I have dabbled in all sorts of crafts from folk art painting, to knitting, wire wrapping, Viking weaving, glass bead making, scrap booking and card making. I always come back to the paper. I love preserving memories with pictures and then documenting the details in layouts I’ve created. I’ve made several albums for my parents. They are just thrilled with the finished products and really cherish them. I also love making cards for all different occasions. My dad even looks on the back now to see if I’ve stamped and signed them!

When I’m not busy trying to cut up and use my paper stash, I love to read and play the piano. I stay active by doing crazy workouts like boot camp, kettle bells and hot yoga. My husband and I love the outdoors. We just bought a new travel trailer and plan to spend lots of time camping, biking, and hiking. I look forward to sharing some of my projects with you.
My pinterest account is Sandi Chromey if you'd like to follow my scrap booking and card making boards.

Hi, I'm Tiffany! I'm a stay at home mother to three boys, and the wife of an Air Force pilot. We're currently stationed in Oahu, Hawaii. That means my life is plenty interesting and busy, but I still make time to record our memories, and scrapbooking is also my favorite creative outlet. I also make cards, and do pocket scrapbooking for some of our daily photos, but 12x12 layouts are probably my favorite kind of papercrafting right now.
I'm also the founder of the Facebook group, 50 Projects. It started out as a challenge to create 50 crafting projects before buying anything new. Now it has expanded a bit to include some other challenges, but the focus is still to CREATE instead of COLLECT, and to encourage and inspire each other. You can join us at https://www.facebook.com/groups/50projects/

Hello, I am Solange (Isbaha), a 36 years old stay-at-home mother to three little kids. I love everything with paper : mini albums, layouts, cards, tags, boxes... I enjoy everything homemade, especially embellishments. I discovered scrapbooking/papercrafting in 2008 : how exciting even grown-up could play with papers! What I love about scrapbooking, it's that when you are crafting, you're thinking about your happy memories, or about the person you will give the paper gift to, and it makes you even happier. Truly, you don't need anything else than some papers and embellishments (and your heart and your hands) to make something pretty and meaningful!

Audrey-Doudinette
(June 2014)

Hello !!
My name is Audrey, better known as Doudinette. I live in France, in the Champagne region, near Reims. I am 30 years old and I am the mother of three kids (Axel: 9 years old, Romane: 6 years old and Mathilde: 2 years old) who are obviously my main inspiration. I have been scrapbooking for 8 years and my style can be called "clean", even though I like to get slightly messy. I am also a fan of photography. I especially love to take my kids' portraits, and then use them on my layouts. Thanks to digital cameras, scrapbooking is mostly a way for me to develop the "better" photos and keep memories for my children.

Carson
 (July 2014)

Hello!  My name is Carson and I'm currently a SAHM of two boys, 4 years and 9 months.  When I'm not chasing the rugrats around Washington State, I can usually be found in my craft room, creating cards, plugging away at Project Life, or wasting time on the internet.  I became primarily a card maker six years ago when I was simultaneously introduced to papercrafts by my sister in law, Jean and my good friend, Dianne.  That year, 2008, was the year I discovered that I could be a "creative type" and I've tried to feed my creative soul ever since.   You can find me and my creations over at my blog pineandplum.com or in the forums and gallery at Studio Calico.
